Rodeo rounds

Our summer would not be complete if we did not attend at least one rodeo (now that live in an area where the animal population is larger than the humans we have to keep up the the rural version of the Jones, plus the boys like it:>)
This year Nya went with us and I think she learned what yippee kay yay means. The kids were all dirty when it was time to go, but they all had fun. One of the rodeo events that my kids love to watch is mutton busting. Kids are put in a lottery. If your name is picked you get to try your hand at "busting" a sheep...a very tame version of bronco or bull riding. Our boys have yet to when that lottery. The other event they look forward to is the cash cow. A calf has money taped to it and is let loose in the area. The kids chase the poor calf around trying to get the money off of it. This is there 3rd year trying and none of them come home with money from the cow:>

You are keeping busy. Looks like you have been having fun! I need to call and catch up with ya. I love all the kids in their cowboy hats.
