Road Trip to Northern California
Autumn's friend got married in Northern Cali so she and I along with the kids thought "ROAD TRIP"!. We had a a great time. we stayed in San Francisco for a few days and then went and spent time at Half Moon Bay. If the kids remember anything about Frisco, it will be how much walking they did. We walked from our hotel to China Town to the Embarcadero, pier 39, and Fishermans wharf. After resting and having soup and sourdough bread on the wharf, we headed to Ghiradella square. The kids were troopers but exhausted so we took the trolley back to the hotel:> We also went Golden Gate Park and saw the gardens and museums there...but it was freezing so we cut it a bit short. At half moon bay the kids loved frolicking in the waves. Notice they and a surfer (with a wet suit) are the only ones in the water lol. The six months of snow they live with most help condition their little bodies because I Autumn and I were freezing and we were dry! On the way home with went to the Muir Redwoods where everyone hugged a tree a marveled at the beauty of the red woods. We also stopped at the Jelly Belly factory (which David will tell you was his favorite part of the trip!) We had a great time creating memories. John stayed home and marveled at how quiet it was lol!
