The Zoo

It was about 85 here today and I thought what a great day to go to the Zoo. I think the rest of SLC had the same idea. Parking went all the way down the street. I told the kids if there was no parking inside we were going to plan B. As luck would have it we got a parking spot about 100 feet from the entrance, lucky us! We actually had a pretty good time, a lot of the animals were out. The kids especially like the 2 cubs play fighting with each other and on the way out we discovered a kids playground to try. Next time we will go during the week and hopefully get to ride the train. We aren't planning on going anywhere this summer so I am getting memberships to the Zoo, Children's Museum etc., and we will put them in a jar along with the Library, swimming, etc and let the kids pick 2 activities a week. Hopefully it will keep summer boredom at bay. If anyone else has ideas let me know.
