My sick baby...

We get the weirdest things...

John, Matthew, and Thomas have had a viral stomach flu over the weekend. On Monday David woke up and he looked like he had hives over his torso. I was concerned because on July 31 we went to the allergist and had him tasted for a variety of things and he came back negative. (Yeah for me, 2 with allergies, 2 without). By Monday night they had spread around is groin and the benadryl wasn't working so I took him to the kids instacare. They said he had enterovirus and to give him Zyrtec and Motrin. This is what he looked like today, Wed. It is horrible. He is running a fever and it is on his little feet so he says "owie" with each step. I took him to is regular pediatrician who confirmed he has enterovirus. Basically the stomach virus that the other boys in the family had manifested itself as this in him. To make it worse, it can last 6 weeks! I'm thinking positive and hoping it runs it's course by next week!

My heart goes out to the little guy. Poor thing. I had hives for most of my young life but mine were allergy related. Thankfully I grew out of it when I got older. So, I feel for him. Give him a hug from me.

I feel so sad for him. Especially when he walks and is in pain. I hope it doesn't last six weeks!! Good job on staying positive.
