Each March my kids prepare for the arrival of the Leprechauns. They gather new grass, spring flowers, shiny pieces of foil, etc. Anything they think the wee people will like. They then put it all in a small container and await the morning to see what treasures they will get in exchange for the "gifts" they left. This year we painted little boxes (the reason the boys are shirtless). This kids usually get gold chocolate coins and a few "gold" dollars.
