Merry Christmas! I haven't blogged because our camera broke and hopefully Santa gets me a new one this year! We have several traditions that last the whole month of December. The 1st tradition is an Advent calender that has a tag with a scripture and daily activity. Dec 1st activity was a visit to Santa, hence the picture. Tonight's activity was a Starbucks hot chocolate with extra whip cream and sprinkles, Friday is a Christmas movie and popcorn....you get the idea. Our second tradition is similar to an advent calender, we have 24 Christmas books wrapped and each night a book gets unwrapped and that is our story/reading for the night. Some books are religious, different versions of Christ birth, but most are just fun Santa books. I love December and all the festivities I want to take my kids to the Festival of Trees this weekend and possible a trip on the TRAX (trolley) to see the lights downtown. Wish me luck.
