My cousin Dave got married this past Saturday which means there were tons of get togethers and activities last week as relatives and friends began coming into town! My folks came in the Wednesday before Easter for my niece's baptism and stayed through Easter and the wedding. We had a blast. The kids ran wild with their cousins and when the carriage came to sweep the bride and groom away the kids all gathered around the horse to pet it and climb into the carriage to pretend they were going for a ride. For those of you who know my kids I have narrowed down an example between my two older sons. Matthew, who dreams of being the Lone Ranger was caught up with petting the horse and asking it's owner all kinds of questions. Thomas, my three year old squats down under the horse and yells out "hey Mom do you think he's going to poop?" Yes there is a reason why I am already called in to sit with him during church classes. I've decided that along with curiosity, Thomas has so much joy inside that he can't sit still! Abigail as well as her mom enjoyed getting dressed up and admiring all the gorgeous flowers and wedding cake!
