At our house the Leprechauns visit on St Patrick's day. The week prior my kids find "treasures" the wee ones would like such as flowers and shiny rocks. They leave them out when they go to bed on the 16th and while they are asleep magic happens. The Leprechauns leave them gold coins (chocolate and a couple of dollars). They love it!
